It would have made for a much more compelling sales pitch had the top and doors not been firmly on, no windows down.
And some pics from a hike today through Eagle Creek park, one of the largest urban parks in the U.S.

It’s rare that it happens, but I feel deep shame when mine is sealed up on a great day and someone drives by with the top down and they’re foot out the door.
My dad just bought a minty LJ last week . I’m super stoked for him. He’s wanted one since they came out but couldn’t justify it on top of his CJ5. Plus he actually needs his truck but he finally said the hell with it and pulled the trigger. He’s earned it. He’s the proud owner of two Jeeps now!

Beautiful shots, as usual, by the way!

Go dad! And thanks.
Yeah, I’ve been caught bundled up on occasion, but usually when it’s cooler. I’m quite a wimp when it’s in the 60s or colder.

I’ve finally got around to installing the AC kit that I ordered the week before the cracked head made itself known last year . Just gotta p ut the dash back on and get it charged. I may be more guilty once I have that luxury. A black Jeep with no AC in Eastern NC was a bad call.
